Welcome!

Whether you are newly arrived in our parish, or have been here for few or for many years, we hope you will find the information on this website useful. We have brought together something of the many varied & energetic services, meetings, organisations, committees and activities that make up the very life and spirit of St Francis Xavier Parish, Montmorency.

We belong to a parish that has a high regard for the volunteers who really make it such a lively and vital community. We are a parish where non-ordained leadership is enthusiastically encouraged and where so many people respond with real generosity. We are a parish where there are opportunities to grow in our understanding and appreciation of our faith. We are a parish where so many people have become friends, and where most of us would say "we really look out for each other." We are a parish committed to being generous in our giving to people who are struggling to survive - the poor, the homeless, the disadvantaged of our world - and we seek to live the challenge of the call of Micah the prophet: "Live justly, love tenderly, and walk humbly with your God."

As you browse the information here, you will glimpse the vitality of St Francis Xavier Parish. You may already be contributing to its life, perhaps as part of a volunteer group. If not, perhaps you would consider joining in somewhere. Please know that you would be very welcome, and we warmly encourage you to participate.

SFX Easter Party

Date: Apr 20 2019
Help us to usher in the Easter Dawn. It is a tradition in our Parish to welcome Easter with a get together in our community.

On Easter Vigil, Saturday 20 April, the RCIA Elect and RCIC children will be welcomed into the Catholic Church. The ceremony will finish around 8pm.

Please come down to the hall afterwards, bring a plate and have a cuppa or a drink and share a little time with us. All are most welcome. Our Easter Party has been successful in the past and we hope it will continue in 2019.

We are looking for volunteers to help set up and prepare the
supper.

Plates can be dropped off from 5pm onwards. Equally, if you would like to lend a hand it would be much appreciated. Whatever time you can spare will be useful.

Please contact Beth at the Parish Office if you’re able to help 9435 2178.
