Jesus Went Up To The Hills To Pray

The prophet Elijah and Jesus both went up a mountain to pray.

Many people have experienced the presence of God in the wonder and solitude of a mountain top. But God is also to be found at sea level, in the ups and downs of our daily lives.

When we are swamped by troubles and cry out, 'Lord, save me,' we allow God to reach out and hold us.
